Good Tidings of Good Things in 2008!

Kindergarten students at R. L. Young are shown
with their "American" snowmen/snowwomen.
Each child decorated a snowman/snowwoman to
represent a state in the United States. Mrs. Lamberth,
Mrs. Liner and Mrs. Nabors, as always, display the
epitome of a Kindergarten teacher. If you're in the
neighborhood and want to enjoy one of the cutest
displays ever, stop by and visit the American
Snowpeople display in the hallway of the main
building. Happy New Year!

The pictures below were taken in Mrs. Armstrong's
second grade class. Every Tuesday and Thursday
we receive newspapers from The Daily Home. This
is an excellent way for students to buddy-read with
a partner and we always look for people we know
who "make the newspaper". Thank you, Daily Home
staff for helping us read more!
